まずはx86版Debianをインストールして、次にスクリプトをここからダウンロード。
これを使えば、red5など依存するパッケージを自動的にインストールできる上、Excelなどのファイルアップロードに必要なOpenOfficeのデーモン起動スクリプトまで自動的に作成してくれて便利。

尚、このスクリプトはVer.1.1のインストールを前提としたものですが、最新版の1.9では共有された画面の操作機能が加わっているので、最新版のVer.1.9をインストールします。
また、x64/amd64/em64t版Debianでは一部.debパッケージが足りず、今回のスクリプトではインストールに失敗してしまいました。

次に、レポジトリやリリース・コードネームを書き換えます。
例えば、

書き換えたらスクリプトを実行！

OpenMeetingsに内蔵のDBを使うなら、WebブラウザでInstall画面を開いて、セットアップを完了。
MySQLを使うなら、以下のファイル書き換えが必要。
/<インストール先>/red5/webapps/openmeetings/WEB-INF/classes/META-INF/persistence.xml

以下の部分を編集
, Username=(DBのユーザー名)
, Password=(password)”/>

編集が終わったら、red5を再起動。
/etc/initd./red5 restart

最後にWebブラウザからInstall画面を開いてセットアップすればインストール完了！
